Shipping & Returns Policy

STANDARD DELIVERY WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Mode Sportif offers free shipping within Australia for orders over $300. If you place your order before 2pm, for delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide we offer a next business day delivery service. For other regions in Australia, you will receive your order within 2-3 business days. Sale items may be subject to shipping delays, with shipment taking place within 1-5 days after your order has been placed. For shipping of all orders under $300 within Australia, Mode Sportif charges a flat rate of $10.

A dispatch confirmation email displaying your unique tracking number will be sent for all orders so that you can track the progress of your delivery. All deliveries are made by registered courier and will require a signature. Should an ATL (Authority to Leave) be stated on the purchase notes by the buyer then the buyer accepts all responsibility for missing packages left by the courier.

Pleas Note- Orders sent to a PO Box can take 7-10 days to be delivered and are shipped via Australia Post.

SAME DAY DELIVERY AVAILABLE IN SYDNEY METRO
All customers within Sydney Metro are eligible for a same day delivery service. Orders must be placed before 2pm Monday to Friday and shipping is charged at a flat fee of $15.00.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
International orders will be received within 5-10 working days of dispatch. Sale items may be subject to shipping delays, with shipment taking place within 1-5 days after your order has been placed. Shipping costs will be quoted according to your region and do not include duties or taxes that may be applied by customs at the destination country. 

Please note that in accordance with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise”. We are also prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes, even if a customer has placed the order with the intention of delivery to a gift recipient.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please Contact Us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you.

ONLINE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Mode Sportif want you to love and wear your pieces. Therefore, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your order, Mode Sportif will refund or exchange all articles purchased within 28 days of the delivery date. Please note there are no refunds or exchanges on sale items or sale promotion items discounted by 20% or more. 

To make your return or exchange experience easier, Mode Sportif recommends creating a member account before you purchase. However, if you have checked out as a guest, the Customer Care team can easily assist you in your returns process. 

To receive a refund or exchange, please follow the below steps:

  • Submit a return or exchange request to Mode Sportif within 14 days of receiving your order. Simply sign in to your Mode Sportif account here, select your order from your “order history” and choose from the options provided.
  • If you “checked out” as a guest at the time of your initial purchase, please contact our Customer Care team during business hours 9am to 6pm AEST on +612 9331 7222 or email [email protected] and you will be provided with a login.
  • All customers will be contacted by the Customer Care team and sent an email confirmation once your return request has been processed and you will be provided with an RMA number.
  • Return your items in their original packaging, including the shipping carton, along with the RMA and original receipt to:

  • A member of the Customer Care team will be in touch upon receipt of the products to arrange your refund or exchange.
  • Mode Sportif will reimburse a return shipping cost of $10 for orders within Australia, for items being returned for an exchange or a credit note. This charge will be refunded to your original credit card used for purchase.


PADDINGTON BOUTIQUE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
The in-store return & exchange policy differs to online return & exchange policy. For in-store purchase, returns are accepted within 14 days of the initial purchase date in exchange for a credit note. No refunds are offered on items purchased in-store. Credit notes are valid for 1 year only from the date of issue. Please note, credit notes are note offered on sale items or sale promotion items discounted by 20% or more. 

SHOES
Shoes must be returned with all original packaging, including undamaged boxes. Mode Sportif does not accept returns without boxes or with marked or scratched soles. Mode Sportif does not accept returns or exchanges on lingerie and ear accessories for hygiene reasons, unless faulty.

SWIMWEAR
All swimwear should be tried on over underwear without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns will not be accepted if the strip has been removed.

Gifts:
If the items were given to you as a gift, you may exchange them for items of equal or less value. Please contact our Customer Care team during business hours 9am to 6pm AEST on +612 9331 7222 or email [email protected].

No returns will be accepted of gift cards, or exchanges of gift cards for cash.

Faulty items:
If the item that you purchased is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team during business hours 9am to 6pm AEST on +612 9331 7222 or email [email protected].

The fine print:
Returns received outside of 28 days may be accepted at Mode Sportif’s sole and absolute discretion.

Returned items must be in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unused and with all Mode Sportif tags attached. Garments received soiled or with make-up marks will not be accepted for exchange or return and will be sent back to the customer.

It is your responsibility to obtain proof that the goods have been returned, and to return the goods by registered post or by other such means or carrier of your choice, which gives proof of posting and delivery. All returns or exchanges sent to Mode Sportif must have a valid tracking number. Mode Sportif will not be liable for items lost in transit.

Where the items fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure, Mode Sportif is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable solution. Exchange of items is subject to availability. Mode Sportif classifies items to be faulty (i.e. not acceptable quality) if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 6 months of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of wear are not considered to be faulty.

Mode Sportif will issue a refund to the original card used for purchase within 10 business days of receipt of a return. This refund will include the full value of the items returned, including the relevant taxes, shipping or return delivery costs.

Outside the above timeframe, our items come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable Australian laws. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. To obtain compensation, you will need to provide documentary evidence of the loss or damage suffered, and documentary evidence that such loss or damage was a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a failure by Mode Sportif to comply with applicable Australian laws.

For international returns, Mode Sportif recommends indicating on the packaging that the items are intended ‘Returned Goods’ or ‘For Exchange’ to avoid additional custom duties and taxes. Please ensure adequate insurance is taken for the safe delivery of your order. All international customers are obliged to pay for their goods to be returned for a refund.

The costs of returning items shall be the customer’s responsibility.

Please note, sale items are final sale only. Mode Sportif does not accept any refunds or exchanges on sale items.

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights.
